Bored? Need a new, motivating workout
program? Rehabbing from an injury? The Whistler Creek Athletic
Club Trainers are highly qualified and very experienced. We offer
one-on-one training for individual attention or group training for
two or more participants.
We believe that everyone should have access to
Personal Trainers, not just the rich and famous, so we offer a number
of different training options to cater to both your physical and
financial needs. Our Trainers will also work with your physiotherapist
or medical specialist to help you recover from injury and regain
your mobility and strength.
GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Our Personal Trainers also teach a variety of
courses which are available to both members and non-members.
Circuit Weight Training: This
10-12 week course runs every Tuesday and Thursday morning, both
in the spring and in the fall to prepare you for your favorite summer
and winter sports. Whistler’s longest running and most popular
Circuit Class with Trainer Mandy Dobbs.
Pilates: Strengthen your core
and develop long, lean muscles with this popular course.
Iron Yoga: NEW! Yoga combined
with light weights. Light weights increase the intensity so you
burn more calories, increase muscle strength and improve your balance.
Core Strength and Stretch: Like
the name says, this program focuses on building core strength through
the use of balance boards, body balls, tubing and lots of other
fun apparatus. Highly recommended.
½ hour Abs & Core:
A half hour intensive abdominal workout, twice weekly.
All course are run depending on demand. Likewise
if you have a class suggestion and we can get the minimum amount
of people signed up, we will run it for you!

Mandy Dobbs - Personal Trainer
Over 20 years of knowledge and experience in all aspect of
fitness with all age groups. Abilities to work "one-on-one",
with groups of any size or in a "class" format.

Shanon McMillan - Personal Trainer
Shanon spent six seasons in Banff, Alberta and the last 2
½ years in Whistler. A former competitive gymnast now
coaches gymnastics and trampoline here in Whistler. in addition
to personal training Shanon runs post natal classes, core
strength & stretch as well as stability ball classes.
Shanon specialty is core strengthening and flexibility training.
All too often we don't spend enough time stretching and relaxing
our tired muscles, take the time your body will thank you!
